Healthy eating is of all times, but it turns out that these generations, take this just that little bit more seriously. More than half pay close attention to sugar, a lower fat and calorie intake.

Generation Z

In Generation Z – born between 1996 and 2015, health doesn’t seem to be a short-lived hype. Health is about several things for Gen Z’ers, but healthy food is the top priority. This group also sees increasing physical activity as a way to improve health. They are more open to new food experiences and experiment with ingredient and flavor combinations.

Millennials

Healthy eating is high on the agenda for Millennials. Millennials also referred to as Generation Y, born between 1981 and 1996, place great value on ethical consumption and healthy indulgence moments. The Gen Y’ers are committed to a sustainable and healthy lifestyle. And when there is a new food trend, they are there to try it.
