Let me introduce you… This is Nienke Grisel, a very creative food technologist. She recently started her new job as product development technologist at Choco Support BV.

Choco Support BV is a renowned producer of high quality dragees. The product range is very extensive and is exported to more than 20 countries, both inside and outside Europe.

As a product development technologist you must always be innovative and be able to convert the needs of customers into new product concepts. That is why Nienke followed the day training chocolate panning atĀ Dynamic Academy.

Dynamic Academy

Various aspects are covered in the training courseĀ chocolate panning:

  • What are the product properties, raw materials and recipes of dragees?
  • What are the critical parameters when panning?

It is a very practically training course where we work with different types of chocolates dark, milk, white and Ruby chocolate. Different techniques are discussed which results in dragees with different and unique appearances.

The day training is very practical. After participating, Nienke started developing new recipes in her own lab!
